Small SUV cars are now trend due to their compactness and performance. Various companies have launched small SUV models, trying to get into the market of SUVs. One of the models is Mazda CX-3. The car is not a full-fledged SUV, but delivers the same driving experience. This car is mainly designed for people who commute every day, and want some solid performance with less fuel consumption. This car has a solid body and is feature packed. Let’s have a look on what this car has to offer.

This ratio being higher, the car has very good acceleration, and is stable at high speeds. It produces maximum torque of 192Nm @ 2800rpm and Maximum Power of 109kW @ 6000rpm. It reaches 100km/hr in 8.7 seconds, which means that it is good in city roads where you need good acceleration to overtake. Fuel efficiency of the car is good; it drives 100 km per 6.1 litres. It has a fuel tank of 48 litres, which gives you a decent range of 650-700 kms per full fuel tank.
It is integrated with automatic 6 SP transmission, running smoothly in city roads, but if you get into a traffic jam; this car may give you some problems. Overall, the ct performance is good considering the price range.
Steering and Suspension: Due to its small size, this car is practical in city day to day driving. You can expect it to overtake and take some sharp turns due to the smooth steering. The steering is RACK & PINION – POWER ASSISTED type which gives you a great turn circle of 10.6 metres. This enables you to park at small spaces, and take turns through narrow roads. Car’s handling and steering is one of the advantages. Front suspension is Macpherson strut, and rear is torsion bar type. This car has a decent suspension system, which is very effective on city roads, but as soon as you take this car into a rough road, you would feel a lot of jerks in the compartment, but that’s okay because this car is not made for heavy duty terrain driving. This car is designed to perform exceptionally only on city roads.
Features: the car is loaded with features like traction control system, hill holder, brake force distribution and many stability features, which collectively makes the car a good choice in the budget. The dashboard is designed well, and detailed enough for a small car. The car on the outside looks very engaging, and builds beautifully. The LED lights make a good impression. There is a nice LED screen that controls the media and navigation system. There is a gear changing dial, not your regular gear type one; this gives a very modern look inside the car. if we consider the price, the car has good amount of features to give you, which makes the overall driving experience very rich.
Space and comfort: Being a small SUV, it is more like a hatchback, but does give a nice space to sit. It has total volume of 264-litre. Only way to expand is to 60:40 split the headrest. The space is good for adults, but limited to 5 people only. This mini SUV can’t compete with seven seaters of course, but does offer you ample amount of space to comfortably drive with your friends.
Overall this car is good for city people considering the power and fuel consumption. This might be your perfect work vehicle.
